Hi, all!
Happy Monday! With the election now in full swing, there are many new ways you can help us win. Here are a few:
Ballot Cure Training 🗳️
Join WisDems for a Ballot Cure Training this week!
Ballot curing is a process where we contact voters whose absentee ballots are at risk of rejection and walk them through their options to make sure their vote will count. It's concrete, gratifying work that has a tangible impact on the lives of voters across Wisconsin and serves as a critical voter education opportunity for future elections.
Trainings will run for just one week (this week!), so be sure to sign up here to get involved!
Write Letters! ✍🏼
Want to write letters into WI? Now you can do so via:
Vote Forward! Sign up here! All you’ll need is a printer, some business envelopes and some 1st class stamps. These letters are proven to boost turnout and they couldn’t be easier!
Working America! These are data-tested, also proven to increase turnout, and are specifically targeted at, well, workers. Love this org. Sign up here.
Write Postcards! ✏️
Ready to postcard for Wisconsin’s Supreme Court election? Here are two great options!
Don’t have your own postcards? Consider signing up with the Blue Wave Postcarding Project! You buy cards from them—they’re offered pretty much at cost, and BWPP will send you everything else you need—scripts, addresses, and instructions. You can even order stamps from them! Sign up here.
Already have your own cards? Activate America can provide you with names, addresses, and a script! Just go here to request!
Attend a Fundraiser! 💰
On Tuesday, February 28 at 5PM PT / 8PM ET Airlift will hold a fundraiser featuring Ben Wikler, Chair of the Wisconsin Democrats, and Amanda Avalos & Lamonte Moore, leaders of Leaders Igniting Transformation (LIT). You’ll get to hear what they’re doing to ensure a win in this race, and if you like you can give a donation to be split between WisDems and LIT. REGISTER here.
NOPE is having a Wisconsin fundraiser at 7 PM ET on Thursday, March 2. Their lead speaker will be Wisconsin Senator Tammy Baldwin. You'll also hear from Ben Wikler, chair of the Wisconsin Democratic Party, and Christine Neumann-Ortiz, Executive Director of VOCES de la Frontera, a powerhouse Wisconsin grassroots group. You will have the opportunity to donate to a fund that will be split between WisDems and VOCES—you can give to it without attending right here—or just listen and learn! Register for the event here.
Or just donate to Sister District’s State Bridges fund into Wisconsin. Your money will be split between two excellent grassroots groups, WISDOM and Citizen Action of Wisconsin. Give here.
Make Calls! ☎️
The Center For Common Ground is calling Black voters who are targets of voter suppression efforts in Wisconsin with important election information. They aim to call every Black voter in Milwaukee and more cities if they get enough volunteers.
Join them at a National Guided Phone Bank every Tuesday from 3 to 5 pm PT/ 6 to 8 pm ET to make calls. You can also sign up for a phone bank event hosted by our partners! Sign up to make calls here.
OK, I’ll have more for you soon. Thanks for all you’re doing and please share!
