Hi, all, and thanks for signing up to adopt Wisconsin this year!

This is Jess Craven. (In case you didn’t know, I also publish an email newsletter called Chop Wood Carry Water—thus the name for this sub-newsletter.)

With everything happening in the world it’s more clear than ever that we need to win in November so we can protect our elections in 2024. The last thing we need is a Putin sycophant and unstable narcissist in office when the world is this nuts.

The stakes, in other words, couldn’t be higher.

There is an EXTREMELY important election coming up in Wisconsin on April 5th, (one that Ben Wikler has said is PIVOTAL to our winning there in November). So what can we do to help?

Also, my friends at WisDems just told me that they have a few big events coming up—which one can YOU attend?

• You and the 34%: How to Connect with High-Potential Voters: March 5th In 2020, 34% of eligible voters didn’t vote. This training, led by two inspiring women whom I can’t wait to hear, will show you how to draw out voters’ own desires for change, and channel that energy into voting.

• Spring Election Weekend of Action 1: March 19th - 20th Lots of phonebanks to choose from to help Get Out the VOTE April 5th (and thus also November 8th!)

• Spring Election Weekend of Action 2: March 26th - 27th Even more phonebanks to choose from to help Get Out the VOTE!

• Spring General GOTV: April 2nd - 5th — This is it! We hit the phones like our lives depend on it—they may! 😬
