Chop Wood, Carry Wisconsin! 2/10 🧀
Hey, all!
If voter protection is your jam I’ve got a few great ways for you to help in Wisconsin—whether you’re in or out of the state!
Saturday phonebank for Wisconsin Poll Observers (with Special Guest, Wausau Mayor Katie Rosenberg!)
The WisDems poll observer recruitment program needs your help. This Saturday, they have special guest Wausau Mayor Katie Rosenberg coming to help them kick off their phonebank and take some questions!Â
Sign up for the phonebank by clicking here, and they’ll train and support you throughout the process. You’ll be calling folks all across the state and signing them up to be poll observers. These phonebanks run weekly with varying times to choose from.
Join WisDems’ Ballot Cure Program!
WisDems is thrilled to announce the return of their ballot cure program for the April election! Ballot cure is a process whereby we contact voters whose absentee ballots are at risk of rejection and walk them through their options to make sure their vote will count. It's concrete, gratifying work that has a tangible impact on the lives of voters across Wisconsin and serves as a critical voter education opportunity for future elections. Trainings will run for just one week, so be sure to sign up here to get involved!
Learn about volunteering as a Poll Observer
Interested in volunteering as a poll observer with WisDems this spring, but want to learn more first? Join their Poll Observer Info Session + Office Hours on Zoom on Thursdays at 5pm CT, starting next week on February 16! They’ll talk about the role of an observer, and you can ask their team any questions you have. Please note this is not an official training session, but rather an informal Info Session for prospective volunteers! Sign up here.
OK, all. Hope some of you can sign up to help. More soon!
