I think many of us in Wisconsin are terribly discouraged. 75% of GOP bills get a public hearing, but they only allow 2% of Dem bills to have a hearing. We are a 50-50 state but Dems get 1/3 of the Assembly seats under the current (gerrymandered) maps. Our only hope of turning this around is threatened by Repub legislators who want to impeach our newly-elected Progressive Supreme Court Judge who might actually do something about our heavily-skewed maps. This is minority rule to the max, and it is an uphill battle to make any headway against the bad guys!
I hear you. It really is awful. But you all have shown what you are capable of, and I'd be really surprised if the GOP actually went through with her impeachment. Of course I put nothing past them, but I think think YOU all are stronger...and they know it. Abortion is HUGELY powerful right now--not sure they want to mess with is as 2024 rolls up.
